Louie started Cast Out Hauling & Junk Removal in 2025, and it's owner-operated out of Whittier. Louie prices the job, answers the phone and does the hauling himself. He's open 24/7. He serves Whittier and the surrounding LA and Orange County cities. He hauls for homeowners, landlords, builders and businesses. Every job Louie does is on the full list of jobs Louie takes on.

Furniture and mattresses

Louie carries furniture out of any room in the house and loads it on the truck himself. Furniture removal covers the sectional in the den and the dresser nobody wants. Mattress removal takes any size, and the box spring and frame go with it. If it sits upstairs, that's a +$25 add-on.

  • Couches and sectionals
  • Sleeper sofas
  • Recliners and armchairs
  • Dressers and nightstands
  • Dining tables and chairs
  • Bed frames and headboards
  • Mattresses and box springs
  • Bookshelves and entertainment centers

Appliances, TVs and electronics

The fridge that died in the garage goes on the truck too. Appliance removal covers refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters. Louie carries out units that are already disconnected, so have it unhooked before he arrives. Old screens and computer gear fall under e-waste and TV removal. That means the tube TV in the back bedroom and the dead monitor, carried out.

  • Refrigerators and freezers
  • Washers and dryers
  • Stoves and ovens
  • Water heaters
  • Old TVs
  • Computers and monitors
  • Printers and stereos

Garage, attic and basement cleanouts

Storage spaces fill up over years and can clear out in one visit. A garage cleanout can be the whole garage or just the corner with the boxes and old bikes. In an attic cleanout, Louie carries the boxes, old decorations and stored furniture down. In a basement cleanout, he carries them up. Anything still usable from those spaces heads toward a local donation center first.

  • Boxes and plastic bins
  • Bikes and sports gear
  • Holiday decorations
  • Tools and metal shelving
  • Stored furniture
  • Old luggage and toys

Whole homes, rentals and storage units

Some jobs are bigger than one room. A property cleanout clears a whole home room by room, estate jobs included. An eviction cleanout is for landlords and property managers when a tenant moves out and leaves a mess behind. A storage cleanout empties the unit of what you're not keeping, so you can stop paying rent on it. Louie loads it at the unit and hauls it off. He usually works alone and brings a small crew when a job needs more hands.

  • Full rooms of furniture
  • Beds and dressers from every room
  • Kitchen goods and dishes
  • Clothes and linens
  • Belongings a tenant left behind
  • Boxes from a storage unit
  • Old rugs and lamps

Yard waste, sheds and hot tubs

Out back, yard waste removal covers branches, palm fronds, bagged leaves and old landscaping. Loose piles that need to be shoveled stay behind, so bag the small stuff first. Shed removal means Louie takes down the old metal or wood shed and hauls it off. Hot tub removal handles the hot tub or jacuzzi that hasn't run in years. It comes out of the backyard and off the property.

  • Branches and tree trimmings
  • Palm fronds
  • Bagged leaves and grass clippings
  • Old shrubs and landscaping
  • Metal and wood sheds
  • Hot tubs and jacuzzis

Remodel, job site and warehouse debris

Construction debris removal covers what a remodel leaves behind, like drywall, cabinets, flooring, tile and wood. Concrete and dirt are the exception, and they stay put. Builders can book a new construction cleanout to clear scrap wood, packaging and leftover materials so the house is ready to show. For a business, a warehouse cleanout handles pallets, racking, old inventory and office furniture, hauled on its schedule.

  • Drywall scraps
  • Old cabinets
  • Flooring and tile
  • Scrap wood and lumber
  • Packaging from new installs
  • Pallets and racking
  • Old inventory and office furniture
  • Desks and office chairs

Dump trailer rental

Some people would rather load it themselves. With dump trailer rental, Louie rents out his 6 x 12 x 4 hydraulic dump trailer for $650, and that includes up to 3 tons of dump weight. Loads over 3 tons cost extra, and that amount isn't set yet, so talk it through with Louie before loading heavy. Roofing companies have rented it. Look for the trailer with RENT ME painted on it. Call or text (562) 781-9101.

What Louie doesn't take

A few things stay off the truck on every job. Concrete and dirt are out, and so are piles that need to be shoveled. Hazardous materials are refused, and that covers paint, chemicals, fuel and asbestos. If any of it is mixed into the pile, pull it out before Louie gets there so the rest of the load can go. Drywall, tile and wood from a remodel can still go. It's the concrete and dirt that stay.

  • Concrete
  • Dirt
  • Piles that need to be shoveled
  • Paint
  • Chemicals
  • Fuel
  • Asbestos

Ask first

Some things land on neither list. Louie has not done a piano, so a piano is a question before it's a booking. The same goes for a pool table or a gun safe. Tell Louie what it is and where it sits, and he'll say whether he takes it. Call or text (562) 781-9101. Anything on the won't-take list stays a no.

Where it all ends up

Donation comes first. Anything still usable goes to a local donation center. Things that can be recycled get recycled when possible. Real trash goes to the landfill. Louie quotes the job as one number for the whole load, and it doesn't change once it's loaded. For what a load runs, the junk removal cost guide for Whittier covers the $120 minimum and the two add-ons Louie lists.

Cast Out pickup with the logo on the door and the dump trailer tipped up behind it at the dump
Old window air conditioners; a bike and household junk stacked for pickup
Backyard pile of bagged trash; a large cushion chair and household items ready for pickup
A backyard lawn and planter cleared and swept after a haul
A commercial kitchen with its floor cleared
Cast Out dump trailer piled high with broken lumber and remodel debris
